Location: Walsall
Pay Rates: £13.50 (training on days rate) - £13.75 (night rate)
Night Shift: Sunday-Thursday - 20:00 - 04:00 £13.75 per hour

This isn’t your average workshop. You’ll be joining a well-run, clean, tidy, and professional engineering environment where your effort is noticed and rewarded. Work hard, show your worth, and after 12 weeks you’ll go permanent - with profit share on top of your hourly rate. You’ll be part of a close-knit production team, cutting and preparing steel with precision. Every day’s different - you’ll be hands-on, proactive, and take pride in keeping the place running smoothly.
Your main duties will include:
- Operating saws to cut steel to the correct size
- Changing saw blades and maintaining your equipment
- Reading measuring equipment
- Working safely with Overhead Cranes and FLTs
- Keeping your area clean, organised, and safe
- Staying switched on - we want people who care about what they do
Who we are looking for:
This job’s for people who get stuck in. We need hard workers, not bystanders. If you take pride in doing a proper job and like being part of a strong team - you’ll fit right in. You will need to do 4 weeks training on the day shift so the flexibility to work days and nights is required.
- Previous saw operating or steel-cutting experience.
- FLT licence / experience - confident driver.
- Overhead crane experience preferred.
- Reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious.
- Keen to learn and grow with the company.
