Production Administrator Wolverhampton £16.50 per hour Weekly Pay Temporary contract 2 months (potentially Temporary to Permanent, dependent on workload) We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Administrator to join our client\’s team. This role is critical in supporting production planning and administration, ensuring smooth operational workflows across departments. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, confident in creating and working with complex formulas, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics to ensure seamless coordination of production activities. Optimise and maintain production schedules, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Use advanced planning tools and software to create accurate production plans, taking into account capacity, resource constraints, material availability, and lead times. Manage and update production data in Excel using formulas, pivot tables, and other advanced functions to track performance, highlight trends, and support decision-making. Monitor order progress and resolve any scheduling or resource conflicts in a timely manner. Prepare and distribute production reports and performance metrics to relevant stakeholders. Support the production team with general administration, document control, and record keeping. Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in a production administration, planning, or coordination role (manufacturing or logistics experience desirable). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF statements, conditional formatting, pivot tables, charts, and complex formulas). Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
