Oliver Rae are recruiting for a highly organised Logistics Administrator to join a leading food production company based in Oswestry. This temporary role offers ongoing opportunities and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will support the logistics and operations teams, ensuring accurate documentation, smooth goods movement, and effective coordination across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Timely receipt and consolidation of site orders and load manifests from the commercial team into a provisional plan.
- Receipt of orders and conversion into master orders as required.
- Booking carriers through approved channels for onward delivery, managing the full process from pre‑arrival to onsite control, despatch, and customer delivery.
- Receiving physical goods and checking them against pre‑advice and relevant documentation.
- Raising non‑conformances and maintaining accurate logs for period‑end reporting.
- Resolving transit issues by liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders within process guidelines.
- Issuing hauliers with complete, process‑approved documentation to ensure successful delivery.
- Booking and facilitating export VET onsite.
- Liaising with nominated export/import agents to obtain and issue required documentation.
- Coordinating safe and secure loading of consignment trailers via third‑party partners, following populated load plans.
- Sealing trailers with VET‑approved seals.
- Producing operational reports and costings.
- Completing central invoice checks and site allocation tasks.
