The Role
You’ll be hands-on in a heavy engineering environment, keeping machinery running, fixing problems fast, and making sure everything operates safely and efficiently. No two days are the same.
- Diagnose faults and carry out planned and reactive maintenance
- Work on mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics and transmissions
- Get involved in fabrication, welding and machining repairs
- Keep on top of inspections, servicing and safety checks
- Play a part in improving performance across the site
What You’ll Bring
- Solid background in mechanical fitting / heavy engineering
- Apprenticeship or HNC (or strong hands-on experience)
- Experience with industrial machinery or production equipment
- Skills in welding and fabrication
