Location: Aldridge, Walsall

Pay Rates: £17 - £19 per hour

Shift Patterns: Monday-Thursday 07:00am to 16:00pm & Friday 07:00am to 11:00am

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a well-established engineering business, programming CNC lathes using Fanuc controls. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled and dedicated team in a supportive environment with excellent working hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.
  • Interpreting technical drawings and engineering blueprints to create accurate CNC programs.
  • Selecting appropriate tools, cutting speeds, and feeds to optimise production efficiency.
  • Conducting quality checks and first-off inspections to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
  • Troubleshooting and making necessary adjustments to programs and machines.
  • Collaborating with the production and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.

Qualification/experience:

  • Proven experience programming CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.
  • Strong knowledge of turning processes and tooling.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and a proactive approach to work.
