Location: Reading

Hours: 45 hours per week

Optional Overtime: premium rates £24.27 per hour

Pay Rate: £16.18 per hour

Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm (Do 12 weeks then you get a permanent job)

We are currently recruiting a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join a busy operation based in Reading. This is a hands-on role working as part of a 2-5 person team, carrying out business-to-business office furniture deliveries and removals. This position is not just driving - you must be physically fit and willing to assist with loading, unloading, and manual labour throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle
  • Working as part of a team to load, transport, and unload office furniture
  • Completing B2B deliveries and removals
  • Carrying out heavy lifting as part of daily duties
  • Representing the company professionally on-site and with clients
  • Completing all delivery documentation accurately
Requirements
  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous experience in removals or furniture delivery (preferred)
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
  • Reliable, hardworking, and flexible
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
