I'm recruiting for a Lead SDET / Test Automation Lead to join a growing, tech‑led team within financial services. This isn't a traditional QA role. The focus is on building and embedding automated testing across a modern engineering environment, working closely with product and development teams.
The role sits across multiple products, so the selected candidate will take ownership of how testing is done, improve existing frameworks, and remain hands‑on day‑to‑day. Responsibilities include working across API, UI and backend testing in a cloud‑based (Azure) setup, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD and DevOps ways of working.
Qualifications: solid background in SDET or QA automation, strong experience with C# and tools such as Selenium or SpecFlow, and a track record of building automation frameworks rather than just maintaining them. Ability to work closely with engineers and influence how quality is approached across the team is essential.
Salary up to £135,000. London based.
