Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize accounting software and systems used by the finance department.
  • Ensure integration of financial reporting systems with other business management software.
  • Design, test, and maintain system controls and protocols to secure financial data accuracy.
  • Assist in preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Train and support finance department staff in using financial systems effectively.
  • Lead projects to improve system efficiencies and reduce costs.
  • Liaise with IT department to resolve system issues and upgrade outdated software.

Key Skills

  • Extensive experience with financial software and database systems within the Insurance sector.
  • Either a Part/Fully Qualified Accountant (Preferably CIMA).
  • Experience of SAP & Oracle Fusion/HFM (Essential).
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage complex database systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with both finance and technical teams.
  • Commitment to continual learning and systems enhancement.
