We're looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect to join a growing architecture and analysis function and play a major role in building a brand-new, Salesforce-centred customer and insurance platform. This is an exciting greenfield programme where you'll work closely with enterprise architects, solution architects, product owners, and engineering teams to shape a modern, cloud-led ecosystem. The new strategic platform is built using SaaS and cloud-hosted PaaS components, with Salesforce Service, Sales, Health and Marketing Cloud, along with Salesforce Industries, at its core. Vlocity experience highly desirable.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Define, design, and communicate digital‑first solutions for a new strategic customer platform.
- Evaluate solution options and integration patterns, recommending the best approach that aligns with architectural standards.
- Promote best‑practice use of Salesforce, prioritising low‑code and out‑of‑the‑box functionality wherever possible.
- Work within Agile teams, following Scrum or Kanban ways of working.
- Contribute to the architecture runway and help shape the target state architecture.
- Ensure governance processes are followed and solutions meet agreed standards.
- Support continuous improvement, exploring emerging technologies and identifying opportunities for innovation.
- Collaborate with security and data protection teams to ensure solutions are secure by design and compliant.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce as a Solution Architect or as a senior engineer/administrator moving into architecture.
- Proven experience with Salesforce Health, Service or Sales Cloud, including implementing Salesforce best practices.
- Good understanding of emerging technologies and how they can be leveraged for business value.
- Excellent influencing, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to translate business strategy into effective technical solutions.
- Experience with Salesforce Industries (Health, Omnistudio, Vlocity) is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce integration patterns (real‑time, batch, sync/async).
