Job Description

Payments Product Manager

£80,000 (+15% Performance Bonus)

Basingstoke (Hybrid- 3 days on site)

Role:

  • Define and deliver product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Translate business and regulatory needs into clear product requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery and manage suppliers for quality and ROI.
  • Ensure product stability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate progress, performance, and insights to senior stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • An understanding of the Consumer Credit / Retail Finance intermediary market, mortgage products and the technology underpins the business model
  • Experience preferably in a payment environment (cards, innovative payment channels, wholesale and retail payments, instant payments)
  • Specific experience in Retail Finance products like Buy Now Pay Later, Interest Free and Interest-Bearing loans executed through disparate channels e.g. B2B (retailer / Brokers) or B2C
  • Agile delivery experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban or SAFe framework.
  • A good understanding of financial services products and providers, as well as the regulatory framework and requirements, Strong examples of using initiative and delivering positive outcomes
