Manchester | Hybrid Working (2-3 Days Per Week)

The Opportunity

We're seeking an Operational Resilience & Vendor Management Specialist to join a leading insurance organisation and play a key role in strengthening operational resilience, business continuity, and third‑party risk management. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll support resilience planning, vendor oversight, regulatory compliance, incident management, and governance activities within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Operational Resilience, Business Continuity and Vendor Management frameworks.
  • Produce incident reports, root cause analyses, lessons learned and remediation plans.
  • Conduct business impact assessments and identify critical business services.
  • Monitor third‑party suppliers, SLAs, KPIs and resilience capabilities.
  • Support vendor onboarding, due diligence and contract reviews.
  • Maintain resilience documentation, policies and regulatory submissions.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess business impacts.

About You

  • Experience in Operational Resilience, Vendor Management, Third Party Risk or Business Continuity.
  • Strong understanding of FCA, PRA and/or Lloyd's regulations.
  • Experience within insurance or another regulated industry.
  • Excellent report writing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence, challenge and work collaboratively across all levels of the business.
