We are seeking a Technical Lead to drive the design and delivery of secure, scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will lead development efforts, elevate engineering standards, and guide a high-performing team building platforms that support advanced digital underwriting and insurance capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and build of robust, high-performance services for underwriting, claims, and risk-modelling use cases.
- Write clean, maintainable TypeScript code and champion best practices across projects.
- Architect, implement, and optimize Azure-based solutions, with strong focus on Containers and App Services/Functions.
- Use Databricks for data modelling, transformation, and advanced analytics.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for seamless, reliable deployments.
- Apply cloud security best practices and optimize Azure environments for cost, performance, and compliance.
- Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Lead design workshops and partner with stakeholders across product, data, architecture, and business teams.
- Use domain knowledge in insurance processes to shape efficient, data-driven solutions.

- Proven experience leading complex software development projects.
- Advanced TypeScript skills and strong containerization experience (AKS).
