Pricing Manager – Asset Intensive Reinsurance

Are you an experienced actuarial or investment professional looking to take on a high-impact role in the reinsurance market? This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading global reinsurer, working at the forefront of asset-intensive and funded reinsurance solutions.

This position will place you at the centre of deal pricing, structuring, and investment strategy, collaborating with senior stakeholders across actuarial, investment, and client solutions teams. You\\\’ll have the chance to work on complex, bespoke transactions across international markets, delivering solutions that support insurers in meeting long-term retirement and savings needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the pricing and structuring of bespoke asset-intensive reinsurance deals.
• Develop and implement tailored investment strategies across a broad range of asset classes (including liquid and illiquid fixed income, structured products, and derivatives).
• Optimise deal and capital structures across multiple regulatory and economic capital regimes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver commercially robust and capital-efficient solutions.
• Present analysis and proposals to senior stakeholders for approval.
• Mentor and support junior members of the deal team.
• Drive improvements in pricing processes, controls, and methodologies.

About You

• Professionally qualified actuary (FIA/ASA/FSA) or equivalent investment professional.
• 5+ years\\\’ experience in pricing, ALM, or asset-intensive reinsurance.
• Strong knowledge of market risks (interest rates, FX, credit spread, liquidity) and their impact on insurance balance sheets.
• Experience in deal structuring for funded reinsurance, including collateral and derivative strategies.
• Familiarity with capital frameworks (economic capital, Bermuda, RBC) highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills – able to simplify technical concepts for a range of audiences.
• Highly motivated, delivery-focused, and comfortable working under tight timelines.
