Oliver James are working with a leading Lloyd's market insurer to hire a Senior Data & Reporting Analyst into their Exposure Management team. This is a key hire within a specialist risk function sitting at the intersection of cat modelling, underwriting analytics, and regulatory reporting.

The role sits within a small, highly technical team responsible for how exposure and catastrophe risk data is captured, structured, and reported across multiple syndicates and classes of business.

Key focus areas include:

  • Improving and automating regulatory and exposure reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve consistency
  • Enhancing underwriting-facing reporting to support aggregate management and risk appetite monitoring
  • Strengthening data capture and quality across multiple lines of business and syndicate portfolios
  • Supporting exposure management and catastrophe modelling teams with high-quality, structured data inputs
  • Working closely with underwriting, reinsurance, actuarial and risk teams across the business

What we're looking for:

  • Strong SQL skills (essential) with exposure to R and/or Python advantageous
  • Experience in insurance, ideally within Lloyd's, London Market or specialty (re)insurance
  • Background in exposure management, cat modelling support, underwriting analytics or regulatory reporting
  • Proven experience improving, automating or rebuilding data/reporting processes
  • Strong understanding of insurance concepts such as exposure, aggregates and portfolio risk

This is a highly visible role within a global insurance business, offering the opportunity to shape how exposure and risk data is used across underwriting and regulatory functions.

Salary up to circa £65,000 plus bonus (10%). Hybrid working (3-4 days in office).
