I am excited to be partnered with a leading reinsurer in securing a Pricing Manager for their growing protection pricing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and develop a team, oversee delivery of pricing work, and play a key role in decision‐making, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring high‐quality, timely outputs across pricing activities.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery of pricing activity, ensuring high‐quality and timely outputs
  • Review and oversee team work, including analysis, assumptions, and modelling
  • Provide line management, coaching, and development for team members
  • Support planning and prioritisation of team workload
  • Engage with stakeholders and contribute to client‐related work
  • Monitor performance of existing agreements and support experience analysis
  • Contribute to assumption development and pricing basis review
  • Support improvements to tools, processes, and ways of working
  • Provide input into wider initiatives, including product and proposition development

About You

  • Qualified actuary with experience in pricing (protection pricing is advantageous)
  • Strong understanding of pricing processes (experience analysis, assumptions, modelling)
  • Experience leading or managing others
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to make decisions
  • Confident communicator, able to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders
  • Able to challenge constructively and influence decision‐making
