An opportunity for an Investment Analyst to join an established insurance investment function, supporting the Head of Investments across portfolio oversight, research, and strategic decision-making. This role offers broad exposure to multi-asset portfolios, external manager oversight, and investment governance within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor portfolio performance, risk metrics, and exposures, producing regular reporting for senior stakeholders
- Support portfolio positioning and asset allocation analysis
- Conduct research on external managers, funds, and asset classes
- Assist with due diligence, including performance analysis and ESG considerations
- Prepare investment papers, analysis, and recommendations for committees
- Produce clear reporting for senior management and governance forums
- Work closely with finance, actuarial, and risk teams
Requirements
- Experience within an insurance investment function is essential
- Background in investment analysis, asset management, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data
- Proficiency in Excel and investment tools such as Bloomberg or similar
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a small team environment
- Progress towards CFA, IMC, or similar qualification
