We are seeking an IT Support Analyst to provide hands‑on technical support during an office relocation in Edinburgh. The role will focus on end‑user support, hardware set‑up, and assisting with the physical IT move to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide deskside IT support to users before, during, and after the office move
- Assist with the disconnection, relocation, and reinstallation of IT hardware (PCs, monitors, peripherals, printers)
- Set up and test workstations, meeting room equipment, and network connections
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Log, track, and resolve support requests in line with SLAs
- Work closely with facilities, vendors, and internal IT teams during the move
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an IT Support / Service Desk / Desktop Support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and standard office hardware
- Hands‑on experience with hardware moves, installations, or office relocations
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work on‑site full time and manage physical IT tasks
