An opportunity for an Investment Analyst to join an established insurance investment function, supporting the Head of Investments across portfolio oversight, research, and strategic decision-making. This role offers broad exposure to multi-asset portfolios, external manager oversight, and investment governance within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor portfolio performance, risk metrics, and exposures, producing regular reporting for senior stakeholders
  • Support portfolio positioning and asset allocation analysis
  • Conduct research on external managers, funds, and asset classes
  • Assist with due diligence, including performance analysis and ESG considerations
  • Prepare investment papers, analysis, and recommendations for committees
  • Produce clear reporting for senior management and governance forums
  • Work closely with finance, actuarial, and risk teams

Requirements

  • Experience within an insurance investment function is essential
  • Background in investment analysis, asset management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data
  • Proficiency in Excel and investment tools such as Bloomberg or similar
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a small team environment
  • Progress towards CFA, IMC, or similar qualification
  • Experience working with external investment managers and multi-asset portfolios
