We're looking for an experienced Disaster Recovery Project Manager to join an Insurance business on a contract basis, one day per week on-site in Milton Keynes. You'll take ownership of the DR programme - from planning and testing through to stakeholder reporting - ensuring business continuity posture remains robust and audit-ready.
What you'll do:
- Lead and coordinate disaster recovery planning, testing, and exercises
- Maintain and improve DR documentation and runbooks
- Manage risk and issue logs and report progress to senior stakeholders
- Ensure regulatory and compliance alignment
- Coordinate cross-functional teams during DR events and incidents
What we're looking for:
- Proven DR/BCP project management background
- Experience in insurance or financial services (highly desirable)
- Familiarity with ISO 22301 or equivalent frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to operate independently and hit the ground running
This is an outside IR35 engagement at approximately £500 per day. Candidates must be able to attend the Milton Keynes office one day per week. Insurance sector experience is desirable but not essential.
