We are looking for a hands-on Application Developer / Architect with Insurance experience to join a leading Insurance client.
About the Role:
In this position, you will take ownership of designing, developing, and supporting complex insurance applications. You will work end-to-end, from gathering requirements and designing architectures to implementation, testing, and ensuring adherence to development, database, and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex insurance business applications and supporting systems
- Create, enforce, and maintain application and database standards
- Ensure application security, scalability, interoperability, and quality
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders
- Provide guidance, oversight, and support to development teams
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in application design and architecture
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on experience in insurance application development
- Strong application design and development skills
- Solid database knowledge (SQL / RDBMS / database architecture)
- Familiarity with development standards, coding best practices, and governance
- Experience with application security, QA, and scalability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable taking ownership of projects
