I'm exclusively partnered with a specialist international insurer who are looking for two derivative professionals to join their function, based in London.
The Derivatives team is of significant strategic importance and as such, is a key area of investment as the business looks to expand. In this highly visible role you will be instrumental in shaping the management of the derivatives portfolio, supported by enhanced systems and reinforced middle office.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across investment, risk, actuarial and finance with genuine scope to take ownership, broaden your technical expertise and make your mark within a lean, growing team.
What I'm looking for:
- 5-10 years' experience in a derivatives role within insurance, reinsurance, asset management or investment banking.
- Notable experience in structuring derivative portfolios.
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative or analytical discipline. Advanced degree is advantageous.
- Good technical understanding of derivative instruments, collateral management and liquidity.
- Strong understanding of balance sheets and ALM considerations with regulatory and accounting frameworks.
