Junior Digital Finance Analyst
Location: London
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000
Working pattern: Hybrid
Contract: Permanent
A leading speciality insurance business is looking for a Junior Digital Finance Analyst to join its Finance team.
The role will focus on data analysis, automation and process improvement, working with Finance, Actuarial, IT and wider business teams to improve reporting, data quality and existing processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the review and improvement of finance and actuarial processes
- Help develop and test dashboards, reports and automated solutions
- Analyse financial and actuarial data to identify trends and insights
- Support data quality and control improvements
- Work with stakeholders on the roll out of new solutions and tools
- Contribute to wider finance transformation projects
Key requirements:
- Insurance experience, either industry or audit
- Finance or Actuarial background
- Studying towards ACCA, ACA or CIMA
- Strong Excel skills, including Power Query / Power Pivot
- Exposure to Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in automation, data and process improvement
General Insurance and Alteryx experience would be beneficial.
