A leading London Market insurer is looking for an experienced Data Solution Architect to join a major reinsurance technology transformation programme. The role is an initial 12-month contract, Outside IR35. It is hybrid, with approx 2-3 days per week onsite in London.
The business is currently in the discovery phase of a significant CenataSure implementation , focused on ceded reinsurance. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the data architecture, integration strategy and overall technical solution, working across technologies including Azure, Databricks and Subscribe.
You'll work closely with senior architecture leadership and a small project delivery team, with the opportunity to influence key technical decisions from an early stage.
What You'll Be Doing
Designing and developing data architecture solutions to support a major ceded reinsurance implementation
Supporting the integration of CenataSure with existing data platforms and business systems
Designing scalable data solutions across Azure and Databricks
Defining data integration patterns, data flows and solution architecture
Working with business analysts, project stakeholders and external technology vendors throughout discovery and delivery
Translating complex reinsurance business requirements into robust technical designs
Providing architectural guidance around data migration, transformation and integration
Ensuring solutions align with wider enterprise architecture standards and strategic objectives
What We're Looking For
Strong experience as a Data Solution Architect or Data Architect, delivering complex data transformation programmes
Excellent knowledge of Azure and Databricks within enterprise data environments
