P&C Reserving Actuary – Qualified (Sponsorship offered) – Morocco An international (re)insurance organisation is seeking a qualified Property & Casualty (P&C) Actuary to join its actuarial function in Casablanca, Morocco.
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a broad, business-facing role supporting UK operations while working within a highly collaborative international team.
This position would suit someone who enjoys combining technical actuarial expertise with commercial insight and is looking for exposure to a diverse portfolio across multiple lines of business.
What you’ll be doing Lead and support actuarial reporting for UK legal entities and branch operations.
Deliver regulatory and financial reporting, including UK GAAP, Solvency UK and Solvency II requirements.
Partner closely with underwriting, pricing and risk teams to provide actuarial insight and support business decision-making.
Contribute to reserving process improvements and transformation initiatives.
Work across a broad portfolio including specialty insurance, commercial lines, motor and reinsurance.
What we’re looking for Fully qualified actuary (FIA, FCAS, FIAA or equivalent recognised qualification).
Strong experience within Property & Casualty insurance or reinsurance.
Exposure to the UK insurance market, ideally including London Market or specialty business.
Experience with UK GAAP, Solvency UK and/or Solvency II reporting.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence business stakeholders.
A proactive, collaborative mindset and a willingness to take ownership and drive improvements.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment.
