Overview

In this role you will support and strengthen the Risk & Compliance framework within a growing Liverpool-based financial services business. You will drive the Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) program and help embed a robust risk culture across the organisation. You will interact with stakeholders across all levels, translating risk concepts into practical business outcomes. This position offers exposure to a fast-moving environment with clear impact on customer-centric risk management and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Support and strengthen the RCSA framework across the business
  • Embed the RCSA process and mature risk culture
  • Communicate risk concepts effectively to senior leaders and operational teams
  • Work closely with business units to ensure risk controls are practical and effective
  • Promote customer-focused risk considerations in discussions with the business

Key requirements

  • Experience within Risk & Compliance in financial services
  • Strong experience with RCSAs
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
  • Approachable and collaborative working style
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Customer-focused mindset with understanding of risk from the customer perspective
