Overview
In this role you will support finance and actuarial processes, helping to extract insights from data and contribute to reporting improvements. You will develop and test dashboards and automated solutions to streamline workflows. You will collaborate with Finance, Actuarial, IT and other stakeholders to roll out new tools and drive data quality. This is a hybrid, London-based position with a focus on finance transformation and data-driven decision making. You will help shape scalable processes and governance within a leading specialty insurer.
Responsibilities
- Support the review and improvement of finance and actuarial processes
- Help develop and test dashboards, reports and automated solutions
- Analyse financial and actuarial data to identify trends and insights
- Support data quality and control improvements
- Work with stakeholders on the roll out of new solutions and tools
- Contribute to wider finance transformation projects
Key requirements
- Insurance experience, either industry or audit
- Finance or Actuarial background
- Studying towards ACCA, ACA or CIMA
- Strong Excel skills, including Power Query / Power Pivot
- Exposure to Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in automation, data and process improvement
- General Insurance and Alteryx experience would be beneficial
