Reardon@oliverjames.com Finance Systems Specialist / Finance Systems Accountant – Legal SectorLondon – Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)Initial 6-month Aderant Expert / Elite 3EI'm working with a leading international organisation that is looking for an experienced Finance Systems Specialist / Finance Systems Accountant to support a major period of growth and international expansion.
The immediate focus will be supporting the finance systems setup for a new international office, working closely with Finance, Technology and third-party vendors to ensure the financial structures, processes and reporting are configured and tested correctly.
This isn't a standard application support role – we're looking for someone who genuinely understands accounting and how it translates into the finance system.
Key experience:ð1 Strong Aderant Expert experience – Elite 3E also consideredð1 General Ledger design and GL mappingð1 Strong understanding of AP, AR, billing and cash/accrual accountingð1 Finance systems implementation, configuration and testingð1 Testing transactions from sub-ledgers through to the GLð1 Financial data validation and reconciliationð1 Experience working closely with management/financial accountantsð1 New office, company or legal entity setup experience highly desirableð1 Legal sector experience strongly preferredð1 SQL / financial reporting experience beneficialThe ideal candidate will come from a Finance Systems Accountant, Systems Accountant, Finance Systems Manager or Senior Finance Systems Analyst background and combine strong systems knowledge with a solid understanding of the underlying accounting processes.
There is also potential for further project work supporting wider international growth and future finance transformation initiatives.
Recent experience working in a Finance Systems role within a law firm is essential to be considered for this opportunity.
