Senior Cyber Security Architect (Consulting)

Oliver James is mandated by a global consulting client to assist in hiring a Senior Manager within their Cyber Security Operations, specialising in Cyber Security Architecture. The role can be based in London, Manchester, Bristol, or Edinburgh on a hybrid basis, with a salary of up to c£120,000 plus a wider package.

Our client's main purposes include:

1. Deciding the best course of action to detect, investigate, and respond to threats.
2. Developing and establishing processes, governance, and ways of working to enable the delivery of the target operating model and service catalogue.
3. Supporting research activities to maintain a leading edge in cybersecurity practices.
4. Collaborating with Engineers & Threat Hunters to analyze data from dashboards to inform strategy and continuous improvement.
5. Leading migration and implementation strategies and plans.

Successful candidates should demonstrate strengths in the following areas:

• Solution design and development experience.
• Experience with Architecture Frameworks, ideally TOGAF.
• Strong understanding of Security Operations, working within or alongside Security Operations Centres.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing delivery teams of 5-15 people across multiple locations, cultures, and experience levels.
• Strong client stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders from CISO to Developer.
