Oliver James is partnering with a leading insurer to recruit a Risk Analyst to join a collaborative and high‑performing risk team. This role will support the delivery of key risk management activities across the business, with a particular focus on risk reporting, governance, and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience within the insurance sector is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and processes.
  • Experience using GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) tools.
  • Decision Focus experience is mandatory.
  • Understanding of regulatory and operational risk requirements within insurance environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery and ongoing development of the ORSA (Own Risk and Solvency Assessment) process.
  • Assist with risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting activities.
  • Maintain and update risk registers and controls within GRC systems.
  • Produce risk analysis, management information, and reporting for key stakeholders.
  • Support the embedding of risk management practices across the business.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Risk, Compliance, and the wider business to ensure effective risk governance.
