We are a premier recruitment agency specialised in sourcing top talent across various industries. Currently, we are representing a leading client in the Insurance industry in their search for a dedicated and knowledgeable UK/US GAAP Reporting Manager. This is a permanent position located in the finance department of our highly esteemed client.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of financial statements compliant with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US/UK GAAP)
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory reporting
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors for regular audits
  • Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements
  • Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management
  • Manage a team of financial professionals, setting objectives and reviewing performance
  • Maintain current knowledge of developments in UK/US GAAP regulations

Key Skills

  • Extensive experience in Statutory Reporting specifically in US GAAP
  • Must be Fully Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Must have Insurance experience
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient with finance software and databases
  • Detailed-oriented with excellent organisational skills
