Salary : Β£50,000

Are you a skilled Network Engineer with a passion for building and maintaining robust, secure, and high-performance networks? Weβre looking for a proactive, technically proficient individual to join our dynamic IT team and help drive our network infrastructure forward.
Responsibilities:
- Configuring and Installing Network Devices: Deploy and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points.
- Network Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform system upgrades, apply patches, and ensure up-to-date and secure configurations.
- Monitoring Network Performance: Ensure network reliability, availability, and efficient resource utilization through proactive monitoring and capacity planning.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide Level 2/3 technical support, resolving complex network issues in line with established change management policies.
- Security Implementation: Work with the security team to implement tools, policies, and procedures to protect our network infrastructure.
Your Experience
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of network protocols, wireless networking, telephony, and security best practices.
- Problem Solver: Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate across teams and with stakeholders.
- Adaptable: Comfortable in fast-paced environments, able to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experienced: Proven experience in network engineering and support.
- Protocol Knowledge: Deep understanding of networking protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing.
- Tool Savvy: Familiarity with diagnostic and analytics tools for network monitoring.
