Financial Accountant (12-Month FTC)
We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join a growing finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical accounting background who enjoys working in a collaborative environment while supporting business growth and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare month‑end financial close processes, including technical accounts and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and perform quality assurance of bordereaux.
- Support the expansion of European entities, helping establish and improve finance processes as the business grows.
- Identify opportunities to improve, streamline and automate existing finance processes and reporting.
- Provide support across the finance function and assist with ad hoc tasks as required.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in Insurance.
- Part Qualified or time served.
- Strong technical accounting background with experience in technical accounting and/or credit control.
- Experience preparing month‑end accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Knowledge of bordereaux preparation and technical finance processes is highly desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse financial data.
