Reporting to the Head of Risk, this role offers an special opportunity for someone looking to kick start their career in risk management. You will be able to play a key role in developing and maintaining risk management activities.This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys analysing information and is confident engaging with colleagues across the business.### **Main Responsibilities:*** Maintain risk registers.* Support the improvement of the risk management system, acting as the first point of contact.* Co-ordinate quarterly risk and control assessments including organising meetings, updating the system and gathering information.* Collect, analyse and report on risk and control data.* Assist in producing the quarterly risk report.* Support the risk events process by ensuring events are recorded, assessed and followed up with relevant business owners.* Support the risk team with thematic reviews and assurance activities as part of the second line assurance framework.* Contribute to the identification of emerging risks.### ### **Key Skills:*** Strong organisation skills.* Good IT skills, including confident use of MS Office.* Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.* Proactive and willing to learn.* Able to work independently and as part of a team.* Able to work well under pressure.* Clear and confident communicator.### **Desired Skills:*** Knowledge of the insurance industry/ a strong desire to start your career within insurance.* Analytical and data management skills.If this role sounds of interest, please click apply or share your CV and a short cover letter to milly.gray@oliverjames.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
