Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure) – Contract (Inside IR35) – London
I’m looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a specialty insurance client in London on a 6-month Inside IR35 contract. This role will play a key part in building, supporting, and optimising the Azure cloud estate during a period of growth and transformation.
Contract Details
- Inside IR35
- £600-£700 per day
- 6 months with a strong view to extend
- Hybrid working in London 2/3 days per week onsite
Important
Candidates must have hands-on experience working with insurance clients within the last 3 years. This is essential.
Role Overview
- Design, build, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure across IaaS and PaaS services
- Deliver infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Support CI CD and GitOps workflows alongside development teams
- Provide proactive and reactive operational support
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors
Experience Required
- Strong hands-on Azure infrastructure experience
- Proven Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience
- PowerShell or scripting experience
- Experience working with CI CD pipelines
- Good understanding of cloud security and networking
- Recent insurance or specialty insurance experience within the last 3 years is mandatory
