The Role
A leading consultancy is looking to hire a Life Actuarial Manager into its UK actuarial consulting team.
This is an opportunity for a Qualified Life Actuary to build consulting experience while gaining a broad view of the UK Life market.
The team works across a mix of audit and advisory engagements, with no dedicated sub‑teams.
This means you will have exposure to a variety of clients, projects and technical areas, including:
- Financial reporting
- Capital
- Regulatory work
- Financial transformation
- M&A / transactions
- Actuarial modelling
- Actuarial support to audit engagements
As a Manager, you will take a lead role in the delivery of client engagements, managing smaller teams, reviewing actuarial work and providing technical input across projects.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Life Actuary.
- Broad UK Life actuarial experience
- Experience across a range of Life products
- Exposure to financial reporting, capital and/or modelling
- Experience with IFRS 17
- Experience reviewing actuarial work
- Experience managing or supporting junior team members
- The ability to work across multiple engagements
- Consultancy experience is preferred, but industry candidates encouraged to apply.
