This role has arisen to provide maternity cover within their HR function, supporting a busy manufacturing site and contributing to the wider people strategy.
Reporting into the HR Business Partner, this role will provide hands-on HR support across a broad generalist remit, covering employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and engagement activities. You'll act as a trusted advisor to managers, offering pragmatic HR guidance and ensuring processes are delivered effectively and in line with company policies and employment legislation.
You will be an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment. With sound knowledge of employment law and a practical, solutions-focused approach, you'll be confident handling casework, supporting recruitment activity, and partnering with leaders to drive performance and engagement. A background in manufacturing or a similar environment would be advantageous, but not essential. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build credibility quickly will be key to success.
