HR Advisor, c£35,000 – £37,000, Manchester, Permanent, 1 day working from home. This role includes a mixture of shifts including 8am – 4pm, 9am – 5pm, 10am – 6pm on a rotational basis. It also includes 1 later shift 1pm – 9pm and 1 Saturday OR Sunday per month (these can be worked from home).

As part of a wider focus on strengthening line manager capability and enhancing employee relations support, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Regional People Partner, this role will provide trusted, risk-based guidance and coaching to line managers and employee representatives. With a specific focus on absence management and employee relations, you will work proactively to ensure policies are applied consistently, cases are resolved effectively, and managers are supported to make confident people decisions. You’ll act as a key link between the business and the wider People team, ensuring regional activity is aligned and escalated appropriately.
You will be a credible and pragmatic HR professional with strong experience in advising on volume, sometimes complex employee relations matters, including long-term absence cases. You’ll have a solid understanding of current employment law, excellent coaching skills, and the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels. Your ability to manage risk, balance commercial needs, and build trusted relationships across a multi-site environment will be key to your success in this role.
