Our client is a high-growth, forward-thinking international business with ambitious plans and a strong reputation for delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service. Following an exciting period of change, they are now seeking a Head of People to join their team for a period of 12 months.
Reporting to a fabulous CPO, this is a highly visible leadership role where you will help define and drive a people strategy that directly supports commercial performance and long-term business objectives. Leading a team, you will partner closely with senior stakeholders to enhance organisational capability, strengthen HR infrastructure, and foster a high-performance culture across the business.
You will design, lead, and embed effective HR processes across the full employee lifecycle, including performance management, succession planning, and employee experience, ensuring the people agenda is aligned to and enabling of growth. You will act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, confidently influencing decision-making, constructively challenging where appropriate and coaching managers to build strong, accountable, and engaged teams.
This role requires a commercially astute, politically aware, and agile HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is comfortable navigating change. You will bring strong HR Business Partnering experience and will have a background of leading on employee relations, you will manage the relationship with trade unions and with your pragmatic and solutions-focused approach you will have the credibility to operate at senior level. Experience of operating within a unionised, regulated, performance-driven sector would be advantageous.
