We have a great opportunity for a Goods in Assistant to join Team OB in our Warehouse. This role is 35 hours per week, based around a shift pattern of Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. This is a Fixed Term Contract until the end of December 2025.
As a Goods in Assistant at OB you will be responsible for accurately receiving stock into the warehouse and ensuring that the Warehouse Management System (WMS) reflects the stock received. You will be responsible for counting stock on a daily basis, reporting any discrepancies or damages to the Goods In Team Leader. Reporting to the Goods In Team Leader, you will work in collaboration and communicate across several internal teams, aiming to provide a smooth goods in warehouse operation.
Our Support Office is based in Tolworth, near Chessington, only a 30-minute journey from London Waterloo.

More about the role: As a Goods in Assistant in our Warehouse you will:
- Receive stock on a daily basis and ensure that the stock levels are correct across the Warehouse and warehouse management system.
- Ensure that the stock received is counted accurately and checked for damages.
- Put stock away when needed.
- Report delivery discrepancies.
- Unload containers by hand.
- Use a forklift truck to unload deliveries.
- Use an android/windows scanner pick for the stores.
- Ensure that all stock leaving the warehouse is accurate and has been documented accordingly.
- Develop your own self-awareness and understanding of equality, diversity and inclusivity.
- Challenge exclusionary behaviour and support your team members.
- Always keep a safe and clean working environment.
- Assist with ad-hoc admin duties within the Warehouse team.
- Keep walkways and warehouse fire exit routes clear from obstructions.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the Warehouse.
