Overview

We’re looking for an assistant store manager to work alongside the store manager, enhancing sales and motivating your team. The role is flexible with a fixed number of hours per week and shift patterns tailored to the store’s needs.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse a variety of reports to measure the success of the store and team.
  • Work with KPIs to evaluate store performance and identify development areas.
  • Lead by example and provide guidance to all team members, ensuring individual and store objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with the store manager to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Support progress meetings and appraisals for all team members, carrying them out where appropriate.
  • Develop and support team members’ career progression.
  • Follow company cash handling guidelines, including till transactions and cashing up.
  • Ensure the team adheres to OB operational standards.
  • Communicate in a friendly, authoritative style in line with Oliver Bonas tone of voice.
