Our client is one of the world's leading investment managers and trading firms and are looking for Desktop Engineers to join them in their London office. You’ll support ~500+ users around the world, primarily in a Windows environment, across Exchange and Outlook, Office, M365 and Active Directory etc.
You’ll have the chance to work directly with end users and be the first point of contact for requests and incidents, as well as working closely with L2 and L3 teams for complex issues and ongoing projects. This is a high achieving, cutting edge, FinTech and trading environment where you'll have real ownership of your work, be pushed to achieve your potential every day and offers exceptional compensation and benefits.
Requirements
- Great knowledge and experience in a Microsoft environment supporting Windows, Office 365, SharePoint, Azure cloud etc.
- Strong skills with Active Directory, Group Policy, access solutions and software deployment.
- Excellent PowerShell and scripting skills.
- Strong desktop hardware knowledge.
- Any Linux experience would be ideal but not essential.
- A degree - Ideally Computer Science or another STEM subject.
- Excellent communication skills - A “customer facing” way of working.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
