Our client is a leading hedge fund and investment manager. They focus on algo and low latency trading, building innovative software and trading infrastructure across a variety of markets. In London, they're looking to hire a Support Engineer with excellent Linux skills.
In this varied role you’ll be involved in supporting complex, sophisticated trading applications across the business and work closely with Engineering, Quant and DevOps teams to build and implement improvements, manage new code deployments and drive automation. You’ll have the chance to work on one of the largest HPC clusters in the world, write your own software, filesystems and tools as you see fit and work with some of the brightest, most creative people in technology and finance!
Requirements- Proven experience in a similar Production / Support Engineering position
- Proven experience of supporting complex applications
- DevOps and Cloud knowledge is ideal
- Experience of monitoring and automation (Python coding skills would be great)
