Oliver Bernard are currently working with a well-established FinTech / Trading firm, based in London, who are seeking an experienced Technical Operations Manager to join their team as part of plans to improve processes, technical efficiencies, and roadmaps across their tech teams. This role presents a great opportunity for someone currently operating at Management level, looking to have great impact on business operations across Development, Infrastructure, Build, Delivery and Product teams β with scope to have influence across the whole company.
Youβll partner with C-Level and Heads of Department to build roadmaps, improve their technical functions, and be the glue between different teams in an embedded / cross-functional way.
To be considered for this position, the following experience is required:
- Previous experience in a Technical Operations capacity (minimum 4-5 years)
- Strong technical background across Delivery, Product and Engineering
- Must have prior hands-on experience in a Software Delivery role (from a Development background), with experience across DevOps / SRE functions (Cloud, IaC and CI/CD focused)
- Capable of driving best practices, leading teams from a technical perspective, whilst providing direction and roadmaps which will allow this function to scale from an operational perspective
- Strong knowledge of Agile processes, as well as AI, Data and ML
This position is able to offer Β£70-100K, plus benefits, and operates a hybrid working model in London (3 office days p/week).
