Software Engineer / Software Developer Tech for Good, Energy, Carbon Capture, C#.NET, C++, Machine Learning, Python, TypeScript, Azure/AWS Cloud, Rust We have partnered with a ground-breaking company within their field where the technology in this sector is still very new and emerging. It all revolves around Carbon Capture and how we can effectively reduce carbon in the atmosphere and our environment. This is a Hybrid position as you would be working alongside some really bright people in the office, not just the tech team and other software engineers but also Chemical Engineers as well as Analysts and Modellers & Quants. Their office is based near Bank, London. The engineering team currently have a variety of projects, currently including C++, C#, Typescript, and Python. They are essentially agnostic about technology, and there is good scope for the use of others, e.g. Rust, React etc. One of their key projects, to develop an application for carbon capture networks, this has been fully funded and they need to scale up the team to meet industry and client need. The Software Developer are also doing work with Machine Learning, with an application project based on a Genetic Algorithm and to predict thermodynamic properties using a Neural Network. Software Engineer / Software Developer Experience; Programming experience in either of the following: C#.NET C++ Python TypeScript React At least 3 of the following skills: C or C++ Azure or AWS Powershell or bash scripting Machine Learning/AI Web & Internet Security NoSQL Databases Terraform, CloudInit or AzureRM, Ansible TypeScript / React / HTML / CSS Linux Administration / Deployment CI/CD – Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment This role will also involve a lot of Mathematics so a Software Engineer / Software Developer with a keen eye for this would be a fantastic bonus.
