Our client is a leading SaaS and technology company, building innovative solutions for Data Management, Analytics and Machine Learning. Offering hybrid, flexible working, they’re looking to hire an experienced Linux Engineer with good experience across Ansible, Packer and AWS.
From day one you’ll be involved in the design, build, implementation and support of innovative Linux systems with a focus on availability, performance, reliability, and security - from bare-metal through to virtualisation, AWS Cloud and automation. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of projects, tools and technologies and have real ownership of your work – a very varied challenge!
Requirements:
- Proven experience of Linux administration and engineering
- Great understanding of RPM packaging, systems, networking and storage
- Knowledge of Ansible and DevOps methods
- Packer skills - HCL / JSON templates, builder vs. provisioner distinction etc.
- Strong CI/CD understanding
- Excellent communication skills and a motivated, proactive approach to work
- The ability to take the lead on work and drive projects forwards
