We’re partnering with a high-scale UK technology platform used by millions of consumers every month to appoint an experienced Engineering Manager focused on Site Reliability, Observability, and Operational Excellence. This is an opportunity to lead a critical reliability function within a modern cloud-native engineering environment, helping product teams deliver resilient, scalable services with exceptional uptime and customer experience.
You’ll lead a team responsible for reliability engineering, incident management, observability strategy, and operational maturity across a large distributed platform environment.
Key Responsibilities- Drive reliability and observability strategy across production systems
- Improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response processes
- Lead operational excellence initiatives and reliability roadmaps
- Define and evolve SRE standards, SLIs/SLOs, and service management practices
- Partner with platform, security, infrastructure, and product engineering teams
- Experience leading SRE, Platform Engineering, or Reliability teams
- Strong understanding of cloud-native and distributed systems
- Background in observability, monitoring, incident management, and production operations
