OB are currently partnered with a rapidly scaling technology company looking to hire a Forward Deployed Engineer to join their London team. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, data, and customer engagement. You'll work closely with clients to understand complex business requirements, design technical solutions, and support deployment into live environments.
What they're looking for:
- Degree in a quantitative subject such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Data Science, or similar
- Strong Python engineering experience
- Experience building production software, APIs, backend systems, or data platforms
- Ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with high levels of ownership
What you'll be doing:
- Working directly with customers to understand operational and technical challenges
- Designing and delivering bespoke software solutions
- Building scalable backend services and data-driven applications
- Collaborating across engineering, product, and customer teams
- Supporting implementation and long-term customer success
Package:
- Up to Β£150,000 base salary
- Equity available
