Oliver Bernard are currently working with a Tech for Good client of ours, whose platform supports a large-volume end-user environment across the UK. As part of continued growth within their infrastructure and engineering function, they’re looking to hire a mid-level Site Reliability Engineer into a newly created role.

This is a true SRE position with a strong focus on observability, incident management and production operations, working closely alongside development and platform teams to improve reliability and performance across a high-scale cloud environment.

For this opportunity, the following experience is required:

  • Cloud experience with AWS
  • Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes
  • IaC with Terraform (building modules, not just consuming templates)
  • CI/CD work with GitHub and/or GitLab
  • Strong history of Monitoring and Observability (with Prometheus and Datadog)
  • Solid understanding of incident management and response
  • Experience operating within high-scale production environments

The business is heavily investing in an AI-first engineering approach, so they’re looking for engineers who actively embrace AI tooling within their workflows (e.g. utilising Claude, Cursor or other AI assistants).

This is a remote opening for strong Mid-Level SREs, and can offer £60-70K on the base salary, plus benefits.
