A leading Data Center solutions provider is looking for a Shift Technician to join their Critical Services Division . This role ensures 24/7 operational uptime for high-profile clients across European sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform PPMs and service repairs on critical data center systems (UPS, PDU, generators, chillers, AHUs, BMS, etc.).
- Manage contractor maintenance and ensure compliance with standards.
- Monitor and respond to BMS alarms and customer requests.
- Carry out electrical and mechanical isolations safely.
- Review and update technical documentation and SOPs .
- Support incident management and fault resolution.
Requirements:
Experience in a critical environment
Strong problem-solving, communication & teamwork skills
Ability to work continental shifts
LVAP status (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable : Fire marshal training, first aid, NICEIC knowledge
Location: Slough
