Our client is one of the world’s leading investment management and trading firms. In London they’re looking to hire a Trade Flow Application Support Engineer. You’ll be key in managing the global trading platform readiness, pre-trading & post-trading, monitoring and support for end to end transaction flow across the trading platform and identify and correct any alerts or issues to minimize trade flow impact.

You’ll have extensive interaction with the trading community, back office operations, brokers, exchanges, development and infrastructure teams to support changes, deployment and network implementations – A high profile role!

Requirements
  • Proven, hands on, trade flow support experience
  • Strong Linux skills
  • Bash scripting skills, Perl and / or Python ideal too
  • Detailed knowledge of FIX
  • SQL skills
  • An Understanding of networking – TCP/IP, multicast etc
  • Excellent communication skills to support daily interactions with brokers, exchanges, and internal teams
  • Motivated, proactive approach to work
  • Organised and details orientated
  • A STEM degree (Comp Sci, Maths, Engineering etc) would be ideal
